Acolyte Meeting
There will be an acolyte meeting
Wednesday, October 1st at 7 pm in
the main Church. It is most important
that every acolyte attend. Mr. Ashcom
will speaking about The Order of St.
Vincent and other items concerning
the acolyte program.  Any questions
call Sue Brittle 347-2485.
The word ”acolyte” comes from the Greek word
Book of Common Prayer the Liturgy, it is fitting that the Book
of Common Prayer the Liturgy, it is fitting that the the Liturgy,
it is fitting that the principal celebrant...be assisted by other
priests, and by deacons and lay persons.”

The patron of those who serve at the altar is Vincent,
Deacon and Martyr, commemorated in the church calendar
on January 22nd. He lived in the late third century and is
remembered for his love of God, his faithfulness to his
bishop, and his unswerving loyalty to his responsibilities.

Become an acolyte. You will make new friends, learn  about
the customs of our faith and become a member of a
worldwide acolyte community.
