Wow! We are well into 2018 and just 3 months left of our Sunday school curriculum for the year.
Don’t let that mislead you, we still have lots to do!
A very special thank you to all our Sunday school teachers! We have over 25 volunteers for Sunday school. Every Sunday there are dedicated teachers to tell our youngest parishioners a relevant story, read bible verses with, and facilitate a conversation about what they learned.
We’ll continue with our Sunday School curriculum through the Lenten season and anticipate Easter.
Easter Sunday is a beautiful morning at Saint James. We can all look forward to a special worship together (no Sunday School) that morning and following our 10:15 service, the children will enjoy our annual Easter Egg hunt!
The youth groups have full schedules as well. The Middle School youth group provided support for the Mardi Gras celebration on February 13. I’m pretty sure they had a little fun that night too – the proof is in the pictures!
Our youth group leaders work very hard to make youth group fun, yet formative. If you happen to see one of our Youth Group Leaders, give them a high five for dedicating their Sunday evenings ensure our youth is engaged, learning and having fun!!
A big thank you to all the parents too who make meals for our youth group meetings, drive kids to and from our gatherings and special events! THANKS!
YOLO Update (HS Youth Group)
Our high school youth group is in full swing this spring. High schoolers will soon begin preparations for our July mission trip to South Carolina, with leadership building and fundraising activities to come. Reach out to Margy Eastham, Chris Working or Ryan Wilvert with any questions about this thriving group of young folks!
