Firewood Ministry Split and Stack on Saturday, July 14

This Saturday, join us for a spirited morning of wood splitting and stacking at the firewood collection site behind Walmart! PLEASE NOTE the times – we are starting earlier to beat the heat – 8:00 to 10:00am – come for one hour or all morning!

We’ve been making some real progress at the collection site, but there’s still a backlog (pun intended) of wood to process and prepare for the fall.

Specific needs for this Saturday:

  • Teams of 2-3 for each of 3 gas-powered log splitters onsite to split wood (no experience necessary)
  • Numerous volunteers to sort and stack the split wood onto pallets throughout the site
  • If you have a chainsaw, we have a number of large logs that need to be trimmed down to size for splitting.

Make it a family event – there’s a job for everyone, no matter your experience level.
