Its rich and varied family programs drew us to Saint James’ originally, so when Fr. Ben approached me about filling John’s position on an interim basis, it was an easy yes. We’re sad to see John leave and I’m happy to help out in this time of transition and provide the church with the space needed to reflect on our needs and conduct a thorough search for his replacement.
We’ve been members of the church for 5 years now and most of you know me as the mom managing acolytes, or my four sons, on Sunday mornings. I consider finding Saint James’ one of the best parts of my move to Warrenton. It is a church full of heart, which is why I know that our amazing families will make my temporary job easy and that I can count on your support, and volunteer hours, as we move forward with the transition.
I’ll be reaching out with specific requests later, but please do let me know now if you’re able to help out, particularly on Sunday mornings. Teaching Sunday School one day a month, or helping with the Acolytes, are easy ways to offer a great service to the church.
