A thank you to all sponsors who submitted their Soroti checks to me during these last
weeks. They are arriving still! Happily, I have an accurate enough tally that I can report
to our U.K. headquarters that almost every one of our students will be able to begin the
2008 academic year without being “chased from the classroom for lack of fees.”
Your loyalty, generosity and devotion mean that the orphaned, destitute Ugandan
teenagers we’ve been sponsoring still have their dream of an education before them.

Margaret Stevens returned recently from Uganda . After spending Christmas and the
New Year with her family, she’ll be sending along letters from our students, together with
their grade reports, and her own comments on the weeks she and her team spent visiting
both our students and their schools.
