Children’s Worship Service
We had a lovely morning at Saint James’ today.
Instead of our usual Sunday School classes, the children participated fully in our 10:15 service as greeters, ushers, readers, acolytes and we all enjoyed some of our favorite childhood hymns.
Father Ben’s sermon was also geared towards the children. (you can watch it below)
Just because there wasn’t a Sunday school lesson doesn’t mean you can’t talk to your kids about the service today!
Ask them what they liked most, ask if they have any questions or if they’d like to serve in church sometime too! (and please let me know about that one!)
Next Sunday, October 7th, Sunday school will be held as usual. We will talk about how Jesus knew just how important children are.
