The choir of Saint James’ Episcopal Church will join forces with the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra and the Arts Chorale of Winchester to perform Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem in D Minor, Op. 48 at Highland School's Michael A. Hughes Center for the Performing Arts. The concert will feature guest organist Dr. Brooks Kuykendall, the chair of the University of Mary Washington's music department. Also on the program are additional French works, including a performance of Fauré's Pavane with the original choral parts.

If you can’t attend the concert, we invite you to join us for our All Saints' Sunday on Sunday, Nov. 3 at the regular 10:15 a.m. service at Saint James'. Dr. Kuykendall and select players from the Piedmont Symphony Orchestra and will join us again to offer this masterwork as the Mass setting under the direction of Saint James' Music Director Robert Baird.
