This is a beautiful, moderately-hard 6.2 mile out and back hike on the Appalachian Trail passing through fields, streams, lush forest, and the Jim and Molly Denton Shelter. Trumbo Hollow has an expansive meadow with a bench at the high point. With fields and fences that make you feel like you're in a J.R.R. Tolkien novel.

We will not hike if temperatures reach over 90 Degrees or thunderstorms are predicted. Please make sure to bring bug spray, sunscreen, closed toed shoes (preferably hiking boots) and water and snacks for the trail. This is estimated to be a 3.5 hour hike.
