Family Ministries

Youth Group

Our youth groups can look forward to several traditions coming up this spring. High Schoolers are planning to hit the slopes at Seven Springs Mountain Resort the first weekend in March and Middle Schoolers will be looking forward to their annual trip to Carousel at the end of the program year (usually May). Meetings on Sunday evenings will continue throughout the spring. Please reference the church calendar on our website for the schedule or reach out to Jen Taylor to be added to the email distribution list.

Youth group is available to all middle school and high school students. High school youth group meets weekly on Sunday evenings and middle school typically meets twice a month on Sunday evenings.

Children’s Church (Sunday School)

Children’s church meets during our 10:15 service and there is always room for more children. We have adjusted our classrooms slightly to be more accommodating to our children who attend and I am thankful for our teachers (and kids) flexibility! We now have a class for our preschool students and a class for our elementary students. Once a month all the children gather together to hear a Godly Play story with Mrs. Norma.

Communion Instruction class will be returning this spring for 2nd - 5th grade students. Over the course of 3 Sundays, Father Ben will help the children understand why we do communion each week, why it’s important and help students understand each part of our service. While we invite everyone to the table each Sunday, we believe it’s important to understand ‘why’. Please reach out to Jen Taylor if you are interstested.  Sundays will include March 19, 26 and April 2nd. Times and more information coming soon!
