THE GREAT BACKYARD BIRD COUNT STARTS FEB 18:
The annual GBBC https://www.birdcount.org is an annual event where anyone of any age can observe and report bird sightings. Serving as “citizen scientists” in this way is an enormous help in documenting migration and flight patterns, increasing or decreasing populations. The data is collected by Audubon, the Cornell Bird Lab, and Birds Canada. 2022 marks the 25th year of the program, and it’s as easy as sitting at your kitchen table with coffee and watching your feeder for 15 minutes—then reporting your birds.

During Lent, the Green Team encourages Meatless Mondays (or more!) for improved planet and personal health. We will be providing recipes. Here is a Lenten calendar for thought and practice: Calendar
