There are upcoming opportunities to get a glimpse into Education for Ministry, a four-year small-group adult-formation program designed by Sewanee’s School of Theology to develop “theologically informed, reflective, and articulate seekers of God.”
Two online groups will hold open houses on Zoom. The Monday group open houses are on March 31 and April 7. The Thursday group open houses are April 3 and April 10. All open houses are at 7 p.m.
These sessions will feature discussion of a short book by Bishop Steven Charleston, “The Four Vision Quests of Jesus,” and are intended to provide a flavor of these online EfM groups. Each group meets weekly during the school year — one on Monday evenings and the other on Thursdays — and will be accepting sign ups over the summer. To participate in the open houses and for more information about online EfM classes, contact Gita Grady at gita.grady@comcast.net.
Separately, Saint James’ hosts in-person EfM classes during the school year, and registration will begin soon for the autumn. For more information, contact Joanne Charles at jcharles1331@gmail.com.
