September Service Project: Virginia Preschool Initiative

SJES is working together with Fauquier County’s Virginia Preschool Initiative (VPI) which provides a  preschool experience for children who otherwise would not have access to a preschool program. The  VPI will give these students the chance to enter kindergarten with the basic skills they need to be  successful throughout their education. Children, families, schools and communities like ours all play a  crucial role in the development of school readiness.

Fauquier County’s VPI is in need of the following items for their  

classrooms:

• Baby wipes

• Clorox wipes

• Tissues

• Hand sanitizer

Please bring in all donations by Friday, September 30. Students  

may bring donations to class or to the Service Project collection area in our main school lobby. There will also be a donation bin on the Parish Hall stage. Thanks for your help!
