Welcoming Nadia and Ahmad

Many thanks to the Saint James’ community for such a warm welcome to Ahmad and Nadia on All Saints’ Sunday. They were very happy to be with us and especially loved the music during service. Nadia is 5 ½ months pregnant and did wish to leave a bit early, as she wasn’t feeling well. 

They are happily settled into their new temporary home in Warrenton and several parishioners have offered to assist with driving Nadia to errands and appointments while Ahmad is working. Thank you!  

Nadia especially enjoys craftwork and will be spending a great deal of time alone, she would welcome any opportunity for visits and crafting, and would enjoy learning to knit or crochet. 

In a few months, we will looking for donations of baby items — a car seat, stroller, clothing etc. — so if you have any of these items, please let Joanne Charles (jcharles1331@gmail.com) or Cathy Byrne (catheeb@icloud.com) know. They are having a boy!
